Unfortunately Cintra turned out to be no match for the power of Nilfgaard and almost every Cintran in sight was slaughtered. Ciri, the granddaughter of Calanthe, managed to escape however.
Male names are often guttural and on the longer side. Female Cintran names have southern European influences including French, Spanish and Italian. This isn't the case for every name, but it does lead to melodic and often longer names.
