Harengon names - Dungeons & Dragons
This name generator will give you 10 names which will generally fit harengons of the Dungeons & Dragons universe.
Note, this section may contain spoilers for The Wild Beyond the Witchlight. Harengons became a playable race within this expansion, published on September 21st, 2021.
Harengons are large, humanoid hares from the fey world and, through it, are blessed with a supernatural luck. Like their real life counterparts, they possess powerful hind legs and plenty of energy, which allows them to escape trouble whenever it finds them, though at times they truly are lucky to escape with their hides intact.
Within the fey world, Harengons were the embodiment of travel and freedom, which eventually led them to travel to different worlds outside of the fey realm and as a result into many worlds the players and their characters would be more familiar with.
Disappointingly, not a whole lot is know of Harengons, least of all their names. Only 2 of them are named throughout the entire book: Agdon (male) and Jebbek (female). So for this name generator I used those 2 names (considered them to be unisex) and expanded upon them a little. The majority of names will thus be fairly short and guttural.
Since they're fey creatures, I've also included sylvan-based names (the last 4 results) in this name generator for more variety.
