Rocs are huge birds of prey from mythological tales. The first of these seems to originate from ancient Sanskrit epics in which a roc lifted up an elephant and a crocodile who were battling each other. The roc also appears in Arabian stories, like the famous One Thousand and One Nights (think Sinbad the Sailor).
Rocs don't usually have personal names, they're predatory birds after all, but nicknames do fit them perfectly. Names like 'Deathtalon' or 'Razorbeak' for example. It's these kind of names you'll find in this generator as well.
