Sarangay names - Pathfinder
This name generator will give you 10 random names fit for the sarangay part of the Pathfinder universe.
Sarangay are humanoid bovines, somewhat similar to minotaurs, but with the heads of carabao (water buffalo) instead. They stand between 6 and 7 feet (180-210cm) tall, are often very muscular, have hoofed feet and clawed hands, and a gem at the center of their foreheads said to house their soul. These gems are exchanged with their partner when sarangay find love, though there is also a darker black market that trades in stolen sarangay gems.
Sarangay tend to live in small forest communities, most often in houses both easily built and destroyed. At the center of each settlement is the house of their chosen leader, which is usually more sturdy and enduring being made of finished hardwood, and is often multi-storied.
Sarangay names are a mixture of guttural and melodic tones, but generally easy to pronounce and ranging from two to four syllables. Official examples include: Dakal, Davvun, Karatallu, Kasta, Kunnasi, Makkan Vulan, Mangi Yavu, Mappia, Nallutu, Ngatta, Nikanni, Sikamu, Tadday, Tullung, Uzzin, and Vulu Vvuga.
