Sky island name generator 
This name generator will generate 10 random names for floating islands, but the names could work for floating cities and other large places in the sky as well, as long as you replace the 'isle' and similar synonyms in the name of course.
There are 2 types of names in this generator. The first type, represented by the first 6 names in this generator, are names which are mostly aimed at capturing a somewhat aerie feel, while still being a completely unique name. There are a few different elements in here, which'll make some names have a different feel from others. Some will sound more darker and ominous for example, while others may sound light and angelic. My aim was to have naming rules that'll create a variety of feelings, but still all shared some aerial elements. Although I guess that's mostly subjective.
I also tried to include styles from other cultures, as mostly English sounding names wouldn't always fit in all settings. So you may find some Norse elements, some various Asian elements and much more.
The last 4 names are mostly word based names, as well as names that have been derived from words related to the sky. Names like 'Aurora Isle', 'Nimbus Island', and so on. These types of names tend to fit some settings better than the first 6 names, so hopefully they'll help you if you need these.
