White dragon names - Dungeons & Dragons
This name generator will give you 10 names which will generally fit the white dragons of the Dungeons & Dragons universe.
White dragons, also known as frost dragons, were the most feral of chromatic dragons as well as the weakest. They were well adapted to the arctic conditions, and they themselves could be as cold hearted as their surroundings. White dragons laid eggs in clutches of about 8 to 10 eggs and covered them in snow. They were not tended beyond this and only 2-4 eggs generally survived until hatching.
White dragon names are harsh sounding with guttural sounds mixed in here and there. They're long like many other dragon names, and can be equally hard to pronounce. Female names are slightly more melodic, primarily because their names can end in a vowel whereas male names always end in a consonant. Female names also lack some of the harsher tones male names have, like the letter x.
Official male names include Thlaaklauthimir, Ikzinfraxis, Glaxenheim and Aurbangras. Official female names include Augaurath, Arkhelthingril and Ghaulantatra.
All dragons may also have a nickname, one which could've been given to them by both allies and enemies alike. As such, a generally good dragon could have a negative nickname from an enemy, just as an evil dragon could have a positive nickname from their allies or themselves. Nicknames like "The Generous", "The Butcher", "Blazebringer" and "Terrorwing". The last 4 names are such nicknames.
