Pacific Rim Jaeger & Kaiju name generator 
This name generator will give you 10 random names for Jaegers and Kaiju based on the Pacific Rim universe.
Pacific Rim is a movie universe about a futuristic Earth at war with huge monsters called Kaiju. To battle these giants humanity creates enormous mechas called Jaegers. Mechas and huge monsters aren't unique to Pacific Rim of course, but the movie did serve as a good basis for naming conventions, hence this name generator.
Jaeger names tend to be two word names and a mix of mostly nouns and adjectives, names like 'Gipsy Danger', 'Chrome Brutus' and 'Shaolin Rogue'. The names in this generator follow the same conventions.
Kaiju names are more diverse and range from Japanese names and compound names (Tailspitter, Meathead, Bonesquid) to single word names (Hardship, Hound, Reckoner). There are some names which have no meaning as well, but they seem to often be based on real words, but just with a letter or two missing or changed. For example, one Kaiju is called 'Rachnid', which likely comes from the word 'Arachnid' although the screenwriter denies this.
This generator focuses on the compound and single word Kaiju names. The Japanese names are often compound names as well, at least when translated, so if you really want a Japanese name you could translate the English compound names into Japanese. However, if, like me, you don't speak Japanese it'll be tricky to get them correct, hence why I left them out of this generator.
