Ionia has remained neutral in many of the conflicts of the world, though the invasion by Noxus made them rethink their place in the world. While many of the questions around what their place in the world is meant to be remain unanswered, vigilantism and militarization are on the rise as a direct response to Noxus.
Ionian names are very melodic and influenced by many Asian influenced, though most prominently Japanese and Chinese. Male names tend to be on the shorter side than female names. In game examples of Ionian names include Lee, Yi, Shen, Akali and Darha.
