Kurdish name generator 
This name generator will give you 10 random Kurdish names.
Kurdistan is a region encompassing parts of Iraq, Iran, Syria and Turkey, and is the home of the Kurdish people. Kurdistan has an incredibly turbulent history that still continues to this day. War and oppression are found throughout its (recent) history, and independence is unfortunately something many Kurds can only dream of.
Large parts of Kurdistan are part of Turkey, and up until very recently anything related to the Kurdish language was banned in public, which includes political parties supporting Kurdish interests.
These laws also affected surnames as Kurds were no longer allowed to use Kurdish surnames, but instead had to adopt a Turkish surname. Naturally, most Kurds absolutely hate this and would love to change their surname back to a Kurdish form, which is usually only possible in other countries, and even then it's tricky to do so.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find too much on Kurdish surnames, but it seems they use their father's or grandfather's name as their surname. So this generator uses male names as surnames. Realistically a Kurdish person living in Kurdistan would have a Turkish surname however, so keep that (and the feelings that come with this) in mind if you need a name for a Kurd in your story, for example.
